the other monks of course! because they tend to draw more from the scriptures and just talk like that, makes them sound super intelligent. i talk like that but only around people who expect me to talk about though, like i said, i think it's rubbing off of me.

[ he has to think about that offer for a bit. after all, steinbeck's a friend, but more than that, he's older than he is and has been out in the streets far longer than he has. he probably has an edge over him where fighting is concerned. on the other hand, it might be interesting to make him pay for his meals once he wins. ]
