[He steps in, but not long after, he steps forward to cup the other's face before leaning in for a kiss on the lips, sweet as always.]

[A chaste, sweet kiss, the same as ever. When Atsushi draws back, he's smiling.]

[He gestures for Atsushi to come with him to sit on the couch together with him, crossing his legs.]

I'm not that kind of a sensei, you know. But I suppose it's what the teacher ordered too.

[He takes a seat next to John, leaning against his side. He's always been comfortable with John - it's nice not to have to overthink the physical affection.]

You're a doc because you helped me heal.

[And helped him heal from more than just physical wounds. He was lost, and frustrated, and Atsushi, for a long time, was one of the few people he had.]

[His arm slides around to the other's back, his head leaning on his shoulder.]
